    • Initiated and implemented a nationwide programme for the development of Islamic libraries within Islamic Centres across the Maldives, aimed at strengthening public access to Islamic knowledge, scholarly literature, and religious learning resources. As part of this initiative, Islamic libraries were successfully established at the King Salman Mosque in Malé and the Ha. Dhidhoo Islamic Centre, creating dedicated spaces for research, study, and community-based religious education.
    • Through strategic international academic collaboration, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) contributed 64,000 Islamic books to Islamic libraries across the Maldives on 8 September 2025, significantly expanding the country’s Islamic knowledge infrastructure. The donated collections include Islamic scholarship, Qur’anic sciences, Hadith literature, Islamic jurisprudence, Arabic language resources, and contemporary Islamic research, thereby supporting the intellectual development of students, scholars, religious leaders, and community learners; strengthening religious literacy, scholarly engagement, and preservation of Islamic intellectual heritage, while also fostering international academic cooperation between Maldivian Islamic institutions and leading universities in the Muslim world.

Led initiatives to enhance Islamic library resources across Islamic Centres in Malé City and the atolls, strengthening access to specialized knowledge in Islamic Banking, Islamic finance and economics. Through international academic collaboration, INCEIF University of Malaysia provided the complete ISRA Corner standard library books on 29 September 2025 for selected locations, including Gdh. Thinadhoo Islamic Centre, Ha. Dhidhoo Islamic Centre, R. Ungoofaaru Islamic Centre, and the Islamic Library at the King Salman Mosque. This contributed to the development of academic resources in Islamic banking, finance, and economics and supporting research and professional learning in these fields within the Maldives.

    Strategically utilized the R. Ungoofaaru Islamic Centre and Gdh. Thinadhoo Islamic Centre as regional hubs for Islamic higher education, supporting the decentralization of advanced religious studies beyond the capital region. Through collaboration with the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM), these centres began facilitating accredited academic programmes in Islamic studies, enabling students from northern and southern atolls to access higher Islamic education without relocating to Malé. By decentralizing higher Islamic education, this initiative strengthened regional educational accessibility, scholarly development, and institutional collaboration, while supporting the long-term goal of building a nationally distributed network of Islamic educational institutions.

Led initiatives to expand Islamic Centres beyond the capital city of Malé, to serve as multifunctional religious and community institutions, supporting mosque services, Qur’anic education, Islamic scholarship, community gatherings, and public religious awareness programmes. Facilitated the development and establishment of modern Islamic Centres across multiple regions of the Maldives, strengthening religious infrastructure, improving community access to Islamic education, and promoting structured religious learning across the Maldivian archipelago.
