Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has rendered distinguished service to Islam through scholarship, institutional leadership, education, public policy, and international engagement. His contributions span Islamic governance, Islamic culture and civilization, Hajj and Umrah management, zakat and waqf administration, Qur’anic education, higher education, Islamic finance, social welfare, humanitarian service, and international scholarly cooperation.

He has served Islam through government, international organizations, academia, and civil society, holding senior leadership positions under five Presidents of the Maldives: President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, President Mohamed Nasheed, President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan, President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, and President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. Beyond his government service, he has founded, led, and supported numerous academic, charitable, and international initiatives dedicated to advancing Islamic education, culture, and civilization.
