The Islamic Development Bank Group, with 57 member countries, finances development initiatives across sectors including education, infrastructure, poverty reduction, Islamic finance, and economic development. Through this role, Dr. Shaheem contributes to strengthening development partnerships and expanding opportunities for Islamic finance and development cooperation in the Maldives.
