    Led the initiative and publication of “Mushaf Maaldif,” the first Qur’an Mushaf specifically prepared for the Republic of Maldives in collaboration with Bahrain Quran Care Society, implemented as a national religious and cultural initiative aimed at providing every Maldivian citizen with access to the Holy Qur’an.

    The Mushaf was designed to reflect Maldivian Islamic identity and cultural heritage, incorporating artistic elements inspired by the historic Malé Friday Mosque (Hukuru Miskiy), including traditional Maldivian craftsmanship motifs integrated into the cover design, internal illustrations, and layout structure. The project served both as a religious educational initiative and a cultural preservation effort, standardizing Qur’anic publication within the Maldives while embedding elements of national Islamic heritage.

    Funding for the publication was secured through a national collaborative campaign, supported by government-owned enterprises, private sector organizations, and individual citizens, demonstrating strong national participation in the promotion of Qur’anic literacy. The initiative also received international support, with the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), Jeddah, contributing USD 50,000 toward the production and distribution of the Mushaf.

    Led the introduction of distance learning and E-learning programmes at the National Centre for the Holy Qur’an, expanding access to Qur’anic education through digital platforms. This initiative enabled students from geographically dispersed islands to participate in structured Qur’an learning programmes, strengthening educational inclusion and bridging geographic barriers within the Maldivian archipelago.

Donated a Braille edition of the Holy Qur’an to the National Centre for the Holy Qur’an, supporting the expansion of inclusive religious education for visually impaired individuals. This initiative contributed to ensuring that Qur’anic learning remains accessible to all members of society regardless of physical limitations, reinforcing the Islamic principle of inclusivity in religious knowledge and education.
